Phoenix, AZ -- The Phoenix Veterans Day parade will take place on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 11 am. The parade starts at Montebello and Central moving southbound, then East on Camelback Road, and then South on 7th Street and de-stages at Indian School Road. More information is available online.
Battleship IOWA Museum, CA – The museum will host a Veterans Day Celebration and Film Festival on Monday, November 11, 2019 10am-4pm. The museum is located at 250 S. Harbor Blvd., San Pedro, CA 90731. The screenings are free, but attendees need to RSVP. For more information visit the museum site.
San Diego, CA – San Diego’s Veterans Day parade will occur on Monday, November 11 and kicks off at 11 a.m. at the Embarcadero and will wind its way through Fisherman’s Wharf. More information is available at sandiego.org.
Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, CA -- The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will host its annual Veterans Day Event on Monday, November 11. The program will begin at 11:00 a.m., and includes an honor guard, live music, and remarks by keynote speaker Captain Dan Pedersen who was the senior officer in the group of nine men who formed the Navy’s legendary “Topgun” graduate program at Naval Air Station Miramar in March 1969. The Nixon Foundation, CA – The Nixon Foundation will host a Veterans Day celebration on November 11th in the East Room at the Nixon Presidential Library. Admission is free and the ceremony begins at 11 am. The program will be led by Col. Wayne Scott, USAF, Ret. who will be joined in conversation with World War II veterans, Corporal Nick Devereux, US Army Radioman Second Class Don Fosburg, US Navy. Petaluma, CA -- The city of Petaluma will host a Veterans Day in Walnut Park beginning at 1 p.m., featuring Huey helicopters, tanks and other entries. The event is free to the public and more information is available at petalumaveteransdayparade.com.
Palm Springs, CA -- The City of Palm Springs will host their 23rd annual Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. in downtown Palm Springs. The parade begins at Ramon Road and Palm Canyon Drive and heads northbound on Palm Canyon Drive to Alejo Road. The parade lasts approximately one hour and concludes with a post-parade patriotic concert and fireworks finale at the intersection of Amado Road and Palm Canyon Drive. National Veterans Day Ceremony -- The Veterans Day National Ceremony is held on November 11th at Arlington National Cemetery. The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns and continues inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by veterans' organizations and remarks from dignitaries. The ceremony is intended to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces. More information can be found at VA.gov.
Women in Military Service Memorial -- The Women in Military Service for America Memorial will host an event on Veterans Day starting at 3 p.m. featuring formal military honors, speakers, veterans' remarks, and a wreath-laying ceremony. The memorial is a national memorial dedicated to honoring the women who have given their lives in service. More information is available at womensmemorial.org.
Vietnam Veterans Memorial -- On Veterans Day the memorial will host a ceremony to pay tribute to all our country’s servicemen and servicewomen, regardless of what conflict they served in. The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and features guest speakers. More information is available at vvmf.org.
Navy Memorial – Representatives from the Naval District of Washington will lay a wreath at the foot of the Lone Sailor at the Navy Memorial in commemoration of Veterans Day from 11 a.m. to noon. The Memorial Plaza is located midway between the U.S. Capitol and the White House, across from the National Archives on Pennsylvania Avenue. More information is available at navymemorial.org.
Jacksonville, FL – The Jacksonville Veterans Day parade will take place Monday, November 11 beginning at 11:01 am along Bay Street. More information is available at visitjacksonville.com.
Miami, FL-- The City of Miami will host a Veterans Day parade on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 11:11 a.m. at Lummus Park, 1130 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach, FL. More information is available online.

Battleship Missouri Memorial, HI – The Battleship Missouri Memorial will hold a sunset Veterans Day on Monday, November 11 at 4:30 pm on the fantail of the Battle Ship Missouri Memorial in Pearl Harbor. Boston, MA -- Boston's has two parades, the first kicks off at 12 noon on November 11 at the corner of Boylston and Tremont Streets. The second Veterans Day Parade, known as the Veterans for Peace Parade, follows right behind the first parade and is symbolic of the original intention for Armistice Day as a Day of Peace.
New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Veterans Day Ceremony -- On November 11, 2019 the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation (NJVVMF), in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, will host New Jersey’s official Veterans Day Ceremony at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial located in Holmdel, New Jersey. The ceremony will begin at 11 am. The facility is located at 1 Memorial Lane, adjacent to the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial off the Garden State Parkway at Exit 116 in Holmdel. America's Parade -- Veterans are invited to march in this New York City parade on November 11. This year’s Parade commemorates the centennial of the Veterans Day (formerly Armistice Day; 1919-2019). The parade will occur on Monday, November 11 starting at 12:00 Noon and concluding around 3:30 p.m. It will be immediately preceded by a youth tribute march that will start at 11:05 a.m. The parade goes north on Fifth Avenue, from 26th to 46th Street. The route is 1.2 miles and takes approximately 30 to 35 minutes. Spectators (especially family & friends of participants) are encouraged to gather to show their support along the parade route. Jacksonville, NC -- The city will hold a Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, November 11th at 11 am. The weekend kicks off with a concert on Friday, November 8th, a Veterans Day parade on Saturday, November 9th at 10 am and family friendly events on Sunday. High Point University, NC -- High Point University will host its annual Veterans Day Celebration at 8 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019, in the James H. and Jesse E. Millis Athletic and Convocation Center on campus. The program will include a complimentary breakfast, a patriotic salute and will recognize students leading initiatives to support veterans. The university will pledge American flags to local nonprofits, schools and government buildings. Col. Leon “Lee” Ellis, U.S. Air Force veteran, who served 25 years and flew 68 combat missions will be a guest speaker. Albany, OR -- The parade is held on Veterans Day every year and begins at 11 a.m. The route leads down Lyon Street and loops through downtown Albany. The event lasts about two hours. The parade includes bands, youth groups, horses and businesses. More information is available at the Albany Visitors Association.
Salem, OR -- Veterans will be honored at 3 p.m. Monday, November 11, on the grounds of the State Capitol in Salem, with a color guard presentation by North Salem High School JROTC, the playing of “Taps,” the Pledge of Allegiance and other patriotic observances. State Rep. Marty Wilde, of District 11 representing central Lane and Linn counties, will deliver the keynote address at the World War II Memorial.
Portland, OR -- Ross Hollywood Chapel Veterans Day Parade begins at 9:30 am. Monday, November 11, in the Hollywood District in Portland. The annual parade features marching bands, floats, historic vehicles, small groups, big groups, and plenty of spectators. The parade route is on Northeast Sandy Boulevard between 40th and 48th avenues.
Austin, TX – This year’s Veterans Day Parade in Austin, Texas, will be held Monday, November 11, 2019. The event kicks off at 9:30 AM from the Ann Richards / Congress Avenue Bridge and travels up to the Texas State Capitol Building. Viewing is available all along Congress Avenue and there will be a reviewing stand at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel at Congress and 7th. Dallas, TX -- The Greater Dallas Veterans Day Parade will take place on Monday, November 11 at 11:00 am in downtown Dallas. This year, the parade commemorates the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Invasion. In addition to the parade, there will be a ceremony at Dallas City Hall Plaza at 11 am. This ceremony will feature a keynote speaker (to be named later), a swearing in ceremony of new military members, an Air Force missing-man flyover, a symbolic wreath laying ceremony with the playing of taps and a massing of colors. Houston, TX – The Houston Veterans Day Parade will take place Monday, November 11, 2019 at 10:00 am at Houston City Hall in Houston, Texas. The Veterans Day Celebration starts with a Ceremony beginning at 10 AM at the Houston City Hall and parade to follow at 12:30 pm.
San Antonio, TX – The Unites States Military Veterans Parade Association is celebrating its 20th Anniversary with a Veterans Parade on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 noon through the streets of historic San Antonio. Fort Worth, TX -- Mounted soldiers will ride down Main Street on Monday, November 11 as part of the annual Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade. This year is the Centennial Celebration and the event is free and open to the public and will begin at 11 am, ending at 12:30 pm. Veterans Yoga Project -- The Sixth Annual Veterans Yoga Project Gratitude Week will feature hundreds of teachers hosting Yoga classes November 8-18, 2019 to thank veterans for their service to the country. The week-long event is designed to call attention to trauma-related conditions and the power of yoga as a tool for healing. Donation-based classes will raise funds for yoga programs for veterans and their families in the communities where funds are raised. Yoga studios and teachers looking to participate can sign up here.
