Army vets Ronald and Charmeka Robinson face an ice-cold challenge on the competition show "Best in Snow," streaming on Disney+. They're on a team competing to carve the best Disney-themed snow sculpture.

"Best in Snow" features five teams made up of family members who are charged with carving a 10' x 10', 20-ton block of snow into a holiday sculpture. Ron and Charmeka are on Team Hakuna Matata, which will of course be responsible for a sculpture inspired by "The Lion King."

Ronald was a 92Y supply supervisor who served in Iraq, while Charmeka was a 74D chemical operations specialist. Nothing about their time in the desert would've prepared them for sculpting snow.

We've got a clip of Ron talking about his service.

Ron obviously has some intense memories of his wartime service and connects that feeling of loneliness to what Simba experienced during his solo journey into the desert in "The Lion King." Once he came back home, he felt like he was amongst his pride. Like most combat veterans, Ron has strong memories of the soldiers who didn't make it home.

"Best in Snow" is hosted by actor Tituss Burgess, in character as Mayor Frostifer von Fjord and wearing an outrageous mustache and wielding a cane. Burgess is best known for playing Titus Andromedon on the Netflix series "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and can currently be heard as the narrator on the new Netflix revival of "Teletubbies." Burgess is joined by Kermit the Frog and the Disney a cappella group DCappella.

The teams will create sculptures based on characters from Pixar, Marvel, Walt Disney Animation, Walt Disney Studios and The Muppets Studio. You will definitely get "Moana" and "Coco" characters in addition to "The Lion King," but there won't be any characters from the Disney-owned Star Wars universe.

Check out the trailer for a look at the rest of the teams competing on "Best in Snow."
