If you're a career-minded military spouse, you've probably already figured out that keeping your career on track in the midst of deployments and military moves can feel downright impossible. Fortunately, there are a host of military-career resources to help you along the way. From networking groups to resume, mentorship and licensure help, the U.S. government, many non-profits and Military.com are looking to assist military spouses on their career journey.

At Military.com, we pride ourselves on showcasing military-friendly employers. You can find a whole list of them here or check out one of our job fairs. But if you're just looking for help that will prepare you to get hired, different resources may be what you need. Don't know where to start or what non-profit or government tool to use? This list of resources should give you some ideas. Although we don't endorse any specific non-profit, we do know that military spouses can use all the career help they can get.

Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard Spouse Employment Help

The individual military services offer job assistance to military spouses through career centers on base. Find Army help, Navy help, Marine Corps help, Air Force help and Coast Guard help on Military.com's spouse employment page.

Provides free online career coaching, assistance and workshops to both spouses and veterans.

Military Officers Association of America

Offers career coaching and networking events across the U.S. to help military spouses move forward with their careers.

Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MSAN)

MSAN's New Military Spouse Support Program helps mentor new spouses through the challenges of military life, including career issues.

Military Spouse Behavioral Health Clinicians (MSBHC)

Connects military spouse behavioral health clinicians with employment, education and licensure resources.

Military Spouse Corporate Career Network

MSCCN offers free employment readiness training programs and job placement solutions.

Military Spouse eMentorship

An online program that provides personalized job search tips, career guidance, advice and support to spouses from mentors who are more experienced military spouses, career experts and veteran and spouse-friendly employers.

Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP)

A Defense Department-funded job board listing openings at private companies that have committed to hiring military spouses and veterans. These companies have also committed to training their human resources departments to work with the military community's unique skills and experiences.

Military Spouse JD Network (MSJDN)

A group for military spouse attorneys, MSJDN offers networking and advocacy for spouses seeking to continue their law careers.

The MilSpo Project

The MilSpo Project supports military spouse entrepreneurs through local chapters, online resources and an annual conference.

National Military Family Association

Offers help with understanding licensure rules, federal employment and unemployment resources for military spouses. Also offers financial assistance with licensure costs.

National Military Spouse Network

Connects spouses with networking, mentoring and professional development.

Rosie Jobs

A job board operated by the non-profit Rosie Network.

Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO)

A Defense Department site that works in tandem with the Military Spouse Employment Partnership to provide free job coaching, assessments, tools and resources for military spouses. The site also includes tools for resume building, career assessments, creating career goals, exploring education and licensing help and researching occupations.

Small Business Administration (SBA)

The SBA offers spouses and veterans entrepreneur classes and one-on-one coaching. You can also find information on their spouse page about business funding, disaster assistance and government contracting.

USO Rally Point 6 (RP/6)

Connects veterans and families with resources in their communities.

Veterans Career Transition Program (VCTP)

For military spouses and veterans, VCTP offers free professional skills assistance and training through Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF).
