Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Multiplayer sees a boatload of content for Season 1, both at launch and right up until the mid-season update with Season 1 Reloaded. From the arrival of maps like Standoff and modes like One in the Chamber and Sticks and Stones, there's a lot to get into.
Maps and modes are not the only changes arriving with Season 1, however, as additional weapons have entered the fray, some of which have arrived at launch, while others debut throughout the season through events. With the meta now shaken up with new armaments, here are the best meta loadouts for Black Ops 7 Season 1.
Best Maddox RFB Loadout
First up is the Maddox RFB, the new Assault Rifle for the launch of Season 1. Right off the bat, the Maddox RFB does not boast the greatest level of range, in fact falling behind most other options outright. However, of the full-auto options, it ranks as the fastest-killing Assault Rifle up to 19 meters, more fine-tuned for close-to-mid range engagements.
The horizontal recoil of the gun is pretty harsh, however, but with those first 9 or so bullets up close, it is a laser beam. Here is the best setup for Multiplayer, including optional attachments for those running a gunfighter build:
Best Maddox RFB Build:
- VAS 5.56 Suppressor (Muzzle)
- 24'' Assemblage Barrel (Barrel)
- EAM Steady-90 Grip (Underbarrel)
- Hallux Mix Grip (Rear Grip)
- 5MW Lockstep Laser (Laser)
Optional Attachments With Gunfighter:
- Lethal Tool ELO (Optic)
- Scarletfront Fast Mags (Magazine)
- Voltaic Light Stock (Stock)
Best Kogot-7 Loadout
Keeping with weapons introduced in Season 1 is the Kogot-7, an excellent SMG and already one of the meta choices in the category. When it comes to full-auto options, the Kogot-7 is technically the second-fastest killing SMG up to about 13 meters, but it drops off considerably from that point. For smaller maps, it definitely shreds, especially on Nuketown.
There is quite a bit of recoil to consider, however, which is particularly harsh thanks to its high RPM. Here is a good setup to run for Season 1:
Best Kogot-7 Build:
- SWF Tishina-11 (Muzzle)
- 13.5'' Canis-05 Barrel (Barrel)
- VAS Drift Lock Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- Fortune Extended Mag (Magazine)
- Buffer Spring (Fire Mods)
Optional Attachments With Gunfighter:
- Remedy Light Grip (Rear Grip)
- F7-Howl Stock (Stock)
- 5MW Lockstep Laser (Laser)
Best AK-27 Loadout
Now onto launch weapons with the AK-27, a sleeper pick for the pre-season, but one that is quickly surging into meta status for Season 1 now that it is being picked up more. This heavy-hitting Assault Rifle is one of the fastest killing options by default, sitting not too far behind the Maddox RFB but easily surpassing it beyond 45 meters.
As a slower-shooting weapon, it is a little more stable than the likes of the Maddox and the Peacekeeper, but it still has some noticeable horizontal kick. With that said, the build below is slightly unconventional, as it does little to boost the weapon’s damage, but instead turns it into a fast-handling and fast-moving option, similar to an AK-74U class. Here is the build.
Best AK-27 Build:
- SWF Tishina-11 (Muzzle)
- 14'' Prism Light Barrel (Barrel)
- Iron Hold Angled Grip (Underbarrel)
- Epitah Extended Mag (Magazine)
- Buffer Spring (Fire Mods)
Optional Attachments With Gunfighter:
- Garin Advanced Grip (Rear Grip)
- Caliban Light Stock (Stock)
- 5MW Lockstep Laser (Laser)
Best Peacekeeper MK1 Loadout
Following the AK-27 is yet another Assault Rifle, this time one that is more tailored for the close-range meta. The Peacekeeper MK1 is actually a weapon that performs arguably better than most Submachine Guns, as the class has a notoriously quick damage drop-off range.
In fact, at 15 meters and more, the Peacekeeper MK1 has all other SMGs beat in terms of TTK, while also being a little easier to handle recoil-wise than quick killing options like the Ryden 45k and even the Kogot 7. Here is the best setup for it for Season 1:
Best Peacekeeper MK1 Build:
- K&S Stalker 57-X (Muzzle)
- 23.5'' Longbow Barrel (Barrel)
- Lateral Precision Grip (Underbarrel)
- Vulcan Reach Extension (Magazine)
- Buffer Spring (Fire Mods)
Optional Attachments With Gunfighter:
- Diveedge-7 Grip (Rear Grip)
- Swift-B Guard Stock (Stock)
- VAS Precision Shift Laser (Laser)
