Honda's offering in the mid-size family SUV segment has sat near the top of the class for some time. The Honda Pilot gets a facelift for 2026 that sees styling enhancements inside and out - including a larger touchscreen display and new standard features - and improvements to the steering and cabin insulation. Here's what the new Pilot looks like.
Changes to the 2026 Honda Pilot exterior aren't extreme, but the updates bring vibrant new paint colors as well as a larger grille and more pronounced front and rear scuff plates. Top-end models, like the Elite trim seen here, feature a gloss-black grille with silver scuff plates.
Roof rails are made a standard exterior feature on the new Honda Pilot. The SUV carries over mechanically from last year, and can be had in one of six trims for 2026: Sport, EX-L, Touring, TrailSport, Elite, and Black Edition.
TrailSport variants of the 2026 Honda Pilot get exterior exclusives like more robust scuff plates at the rear, model-specific PILOT badging, and a bespoke color scheme. For 2026, these trims also get heated rear seats and an available brown leather interior with orange contrast stitching.
Honda has made minor exterior updates to the Pilot, but the most obvious are the new paint colors like Solar Silver Metallic, Smoke Blue Pearl, and Ash Green Metallic (exclusive to the TrailSport seen here) that have been added to the palette.
