Two VBIED Blasts Caught on Live TV

    Syrian state television footage shows the moment two car bombs exploded near the broadcaster's headquarters in Damascus on Sunday. Hussam Shoaib, who state TV described as a political analyst, is speaking on air when the first blast is seen and heard behind him. Shoaib flinches and ducks down during the first blast, but then reassures viewers and his interviewer that he is fine and "steadfast". He tries to carry on with the broadcast until a second blast occurs. Multiple bomb blasts have rocked the Syrian capital of Damascus, a mortar attack on Syrian TV among them.
