Apache Helicopters Target Anti-Iraqi Forces

Two Apache attack helicopters moved toward an area where they saw tracer rounds being fired to try and locate the source. After observing the area, they spotted three individuals carrying a mortar tube and small arms. After confirming they were AIF, the Apaches engaged the individuals with 80, 30mm rounds, two Flechette rockets and one point detonating round mortar. July 28, 2007
