Community Honors Fallen Soldier

38-year-old Mark Schoonhoven of Plainwell, MI died in January, about a month after being injured while fighting in Afghanistan. In his seven years of army service, he'd been on several deployments there. He leaves behind a wife and six children. On the day he was laid to rest, the community bid him a hero's farewell.
