New Aircraft Test Out EMALS Launch System on Carrier Ford

    A T-45 Goshawk, assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23, takes off from USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) flight deck. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG). (U.S. Navy video)
