Chinese J-10B Fighter Crashes

    A Chengdu J-10B fighter crashed on 15 November in Pi county (Pi Xian) near Chengdu city in Sichuan province, Chinese media reported. The pilot ejected safely and landed in a field. The aircraft landed in an artificial lake located inside a newly constructed residential compound in Pitong Town (Pitong Zhen), the seat of Pi county government. At least seven people were injured, including three suffering "serious burns", media reported. The site was cordoned off by police in riot gear.
