ANKARA, Turkey - Turkey's state-run news agency says a jet has crashed during an airshow in southern Turkey, killing its pilot. The Anadolu Agency says there were no other casualties in Sunday's crash in the southern city of Adana. There was no immediate information on the plane's type. The agency says the airshow was part of public holiday festivities marking the 94th anniversary of the country's war of independence. The private Dogan news agency said the slain pilot was one of Turkey's most experienced acrobatic show pilots.
