Marines Fast-rope Down an Amphibious Assault Ship

PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 16, 2019) Marines assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) fast-rope down to the hangar bay aircraft elevator during a fast-rope exercise aboard amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). Boxer is underway conducting routine operations as a part of USS Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
