Share

An excerpt from an F-35 pilot meet-and-greet session with Lockheed Martin test pilot Elliot Clemence. The F-35’s DAS system uses infrared cameras, stitching together video from all the cameras to produce a seamless omnidirectional view of the environment surrounding the aircraft—with data data regarding both friendly and enemy forces overlaid onto it. The system is lightweight and capable of being added to existing helicopters such as the UH-60 Blackhawk.
