Sheriff Awards Coast Guard for Heroic Actions

BEAUMONT - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office gave awards to a deputy and several members of the Coast Guard. The awards were given for the emergency response following the Mcfaddin Beach shooting in June.Deputy Nick Garsee was awarded the Heroic Actions award.The sheriff's officer also gave 10 members of the Sabine Pass Station of the U.S. Coast Guard the Heroic Actions award.
