Man Captures Random Explosion on Tape

    January 24th, 2014 -- MONTREAL - An explosion lit up the night sky in Snowdon Friday night, sending nearby residents running for their lives. The fire was caused by propane tanks that were being used for portable heaters for construction workers. Firefighters said the blaze broke out due to a propane tank leak that was ignited by equipment used to heat the site. A spokesperson for Imperial Oil Limited, which owns the site, said the company is fully cooperating with the fire department to further investigate and that's it's too soon to determine the exact cause of the fire.
