MiG Jet Shot Down over Daraa

11 JUN 2015 - Footage taken in Daraa province showed the MiG jet spinning through the air after apparently being struck by a surface to air missile fired by members of the Free Syrian Army. Flames can be seen engulfing the aircraft, which appears to have significant damage to its nose and landing gear. There is no sign of a parachute anywhere near the aircraft and, with the cockpit area appearing to be completely alight, it seems highly unlikely the pilot managed to eject.
