Every once in awhile our little community of military spouses gets recognized on a talk show. In 2017, it was Armed Forces Insurance Navy Spouse of the year Brian Alvarado and his husband, Matthew, who were sitting in Ellen's chairs. Marine Corps veteran Montel Williams is currently hosting a military makeover show. And who can forget in 2012, when Oprah gave away all her favorite things to military spouses in the audience

This year we have two more chances to see spouses on national TV. On Nov. 14, turn on CBS at 2 p.m. eastern to catch 2017 Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year Brittany Boccher on The Talk. Brittany revealed on her Facebook page that she will be sitting down with Sharon Osbourne, Marie Osmond, Carrie Ann Inaba, Sheryl Underwood and EVE to help announce and celebrate the "Rewarding Those Who Serve" campaign and to discuss the challenges military families experience during the holiday season.

Then, on Dec. 2, you can tune into The Kelly Clarkson Show for a special Veterans Day interview with the three Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouses of the Year branch winners behind the Giving Tuesday Military Movement.

Coast Guard spouse Jessica Manfre, National Guard spouse Samantha Gomolka and Army spouse Maria Reed are being featured during the "Things Kelly Is Obsessed With" segment. Turns out the American Idol winner turned talk show host is obsessed with kindness -- a topic these three ladies certainly know something about that. (And we are still obsessed with Kelly for our deployment playlist.)

A high tide raises all boats and we are thrilled that these spouses are lifting all of us up as they share the awesome work being done in our community. We'll be watching!
