DoubleStar Will Debut New Knives at Blade Show 2017

DoubleStar Corp, a manufacturer of AR components, rifles and pistols, will be debuting its new edged weapons line at BLADE Show 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia June 2-4.

Some of DoubleStar’s designs include the MOTAC, which was designed by Tuhon Ray Dionaldo, the founder of Filipino Combat Systems.

The MOTAC features a 4.46-inch 1095 carbine steel blade. It was “crafted with speed and penetration in mind from the straight clip point to the shallow belly and features … textured G-10 scales,” according to a DoubleStar press release.

The MOTAC retails for $206.

There is also the Drakon Blade which was designed to “wreak havoc.”

“The scalloped beveled edge allows this blade to slice through the heaviest textiles with ease,” according to the release. “The finger loop ensures secure retention throughout the cut.”

It has a 3.9-inch 1095 carbine steel blade and retails for $177.

The Fang Blade was designed with every day-carry in mind and features “a durable tanto point and chisel ground edge for easy maintenance and superior piercing strength,” according to the release.

It has a 2.875-inch 1095 carbine steel blade. The handle is textured in G-10 scales and features a built-in bottle opener at the base. It retails for $146.
