It was an April Fool's joke that exploded last year. There was talk of making it a regular item, then it just sort of went away. Scruffy Wallace, a combat veteran and piper for the Dropkick Murphys, wants it back and he wants to use it to raise money for charity. Apparently Kyle Lamb of Viking Tactics is stacked up with him on the issue. They've issued a challenge to Tom Davin, CEO of 5.11 Tactical.

Kilts have a long history in battle, though they're no doubt hard on the knees. It will be good to see them come back.
