Camp Corral is a free summer camp for children of wounded, ill, injured, or fallen military service members. Although any child of a military service member or veteran is eligible, registration priority is given to mission status children; those children of wounded, ill, injured, or fallen military service members. Camp Corral is for children ages 8 to 15, and camps are located throughout the U.S. Camp Corral is free of charge to military families, however they do require a $25.00, 100% refundable check deposit for each child that is accepted. The week is filled with fun outdoor activities like canoeing, swimming, fishing, arts and crafts, ropes course challenge, archery, and horseback riding. The week also encourages campers to create friendships and bond with other kids who share similar family situations. Visit the Camp Corral website for more details.
