New Hampshire Veteran Property Taxes
Wartime veterans or their spouses or widows may receive a credit of $51 ($100 if both are eligible veterans). Municipalities may adopt a higher credit of up to $750.
The widow of a veteran who was killed in action may receive a credit of $700-$2,000 on real estate or personal property. A $701 tax credit applies to the home of a permanently and totally disabled service-connected veteran, double amputee or paraplegic or unremarried surviving spouse. Municipalities may adopt a higher credit of up to $4,000.
A permanently and totally disabled veteran who is blind, paraplegic or a double amputee as a result of service and who owns a specially adapted home acquired with the assistance of the Department of Veterans Affairs, or with proceeds from the sale of any previous homestead acquired with the assistance of the VA, is exempt from all property tax on the home. The veteran's surviving spouse is also exempt.

Military/Veteran Education
Active members of the state National Guard may take courses tuition free on a space-available basis in state-supported postsecondary schools.
Military Dependent Education
Children ages 16-25 of service members who died in wartime service or from a service-connected disability may qualify for free tuition at state colleges and up to $2,500 per year for other costs for up to four years.

Hunting/Fishing
Veterans who are 100% service-connected disabled receive free lifetime hunting, fishing and trapping licenses for a one-time, $10 administrative fee. Those disabled 80% to 100% for at least two years receive a lifetime license for half price.
Parks/Camping
Free admission to state parks for state resident veterans with any federal VA disability rating and any member of the state Guard who is serving in, or who retired in, pay grades E-1 through E-6.
New Hampshire Veteran Transportation Benefits
No state-funded transportation benefit. Disabled American Veterans (DAV) offers van rides to VA medical centers in many states and may be available in the states without a state-funded transportation benefit.
