Amy Bushatz is the former executive editor of Military.com.
A reporter since 2003, Amy Bushatz joined Military.com in 2010 and grew into the role of Executive Editor. As a military spouse, she is passionate about military life issues, and is a devoted subject matter expert on all military benefits. Amy is also a mountain and road runner based in Alaska where she hosts and produces the Humans Outside podcast and spends time adventuring with her family.
Amy is a 2018 recipient of Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) Patriotism Award and a 2019 graduate of the George W. Bush Institute’s Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program. She holds a master's degree in public leadership from the University of San Francisco.
