F/A-18 Super Hornets aboard the Nimitz have been providing air support as U.S. troops withdraw from Somalia.

The carrier Nimitz and its strike group, as well as the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, are standing by.

"They should not test us," said Army Gen. Stephen Townsend, head of U.S. Africa Command.
