Bowe Bergdahl

MERMI has identified a photo tweeted by the Taliban that shows Bergdahl posing with a senior member of the Haqqani network.

Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was apparently "high" with a small group of Afghan soldiers when they were picked up by nomads in 2009...

The service chiefs were kept of the loop on the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl release negotiations but later backed the prisoner swap.
