A sailor who was moved to an intensive care unit in Guam last week has died from the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

About 230 Marines and sailors arrived in Guam this week to support members of the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt.

The sailor is a member of the crew of the carrier Theodore Roosevelt, which reported its first cases of COVID-19 on March 24.
