It's the end of a technology era for the Navy. As of Dec. 31, 2020, all Navy users must stop using Adobe Flash, the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare announced. In 2017, Adobe announced plans to end-of-life the plug-in product no later than the end of 2020, and Microsoft, Google and Mozilla announced they would stop supporting it before then. Flash is currently used throughout the Navy in applications and systems, such as online training courses, technical and repair manuals, and desktop applications. Read more at Navy.mil.
