Military families with special needs members may benefit from a proposed policy update that would give them access to respite care. Currently, to receive such care through the Pentagon's Extended Health Care Option (ECHO) program, families must also qualify for and receive other ECHO program benefits, such as nursing, therapies or medical supplies. For more details on the proposed changes, see this Military Advantage post.
