Parmount, fresh off the success of its Amazon series "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" will bring the author's John Clark character to the screen with a pair of movies based on the novels "Rainbow Six" and "Without Remorse."

Michael B. Jordan (best known for the "Rocky" spinoff "Creed" and "Black Panther") will play the former Navy Seal-turned-operations officer for the CIA. He appears in 17 novels beginning with 1988’s "The Cardinal of the Kremlin," mostly as a supporting character to Jack Ryan. Clark finally become the focal point in "Without Remorse," which details how he came to work for the CIA.

Willem Dafoe played Clark in the movie "Clear and Present Danger," while Liev Schreiber took on the role in "The Sum of All Fears."

Akiva Goldsman, Oscar-winning screenwriter of "A Beautiful Mind," will produce the films with Jordan and Paramount is currently meeting with writers and directors who would launch the series with "Without Remorse."

We're probably looking at 2021 for a release since they don't have a script yet, but this is definitely one to watch.
