Brandon Jenkins, 26, was pulled up at the traffic lights at Southern Avenue and San Jose in Mesa, Arizona, when he was attacked by Michael Monigold, 31, who was fleeing from police. But the suspect, who was wanted for a hit-and-run last month, was not prepared for his victim - an Afghanistan veteran.
