Massive Underground Nuclear Bunker Goes Up for Sale

An underground nuclear bunker with 56 bedrooms and two stories equipped with broadcasting studios and original maps has gone for sale for £435,000. The bunker, located near Salcombe in Devon in southwest England, was built in 1941 and was originally meant to be used as a Second World War radar station but as tensions rose during the Cold War with fears of nuclear attacks, the property was repurposed in the 1950's into a regional government base.
