With the World's Biggest USO Tour, the military support organization is trying something new on Wednesday, September 12th in Washington, D.C. There's a the traditional big show, featuring country artist Florida Georgia Line, perennial USO supporter and celebrity chef Robert Irvine and comedian Adam Devine. And there's an internet stream that will allow everyone around the world to enjoy the event live.

The event takes place at the beautiful new venue Anthem DC and the in-house show starts at 7pm. What makes it the World's Biggest? There's a livestream of the event that begins at 8pm ET and you can watch it at uso.org/tour. You can add a reminder to your calendar at that URL.

The event also continues the USO's efforts to evolve for another generation of service members. Before the audience enters the concert hall, they can visit an on-site replica on an Iraq-based USO expeditionary location to get a feel for how our men and women use their services. There will also be virtual reality headsets that will offer tours of USO locations around the world.

While the event will stream to watch parties at nearly 90 USO locations around the world, three centers are set up for two-way streaming so that the performers and audience can interact with service members at USO Camp Arifjan in Kuwait, USO Yokosuka in Japan and USO Alaska at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.

While this tour marks Florida Georgia Line's first time with the USO (and Adam's second), chef Robert Irvine is a long-time supporter and participant. The Englishman is a veteran himself, having served ten years in the UK Royal Navy. He's become one of the USO's most popular performers and Irvine is now a familiar face at USO events around the world.

The events mean a lot to him. "The importance and meaning of the USO is hard to articulate. It’s been a privilege to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, while connecting with those currently serving, their families and fellow military supporters. Having recently completed my 14th USO tour, I continue to be inspired by those who have affirmed their support as a force behind our nation’s forces," Irvine said.

J.D. Crouch II, CEO and President of the USO, adds, "The USO’s mission is to strengthen service members by connecting them to family, home and country. And that’s just what the World’s Biggest USO Tour is all about – bringing service members, their families, USO supporters and Americans around the world together for an exclusive USO experience."

Fans should treat this like Coachella or any other music event that streams on YouTube: treat this like a live broadcast. The complete show won't be archived later, so you'll have to tune it live to enjoy the complete show.

After the World’s Biggest USO Tour, viewers can share a message of support with service members stationed far from home. The USO will deliver them to USO centers around the globe. Get the details at uso.org/tour.
