The U.S. Air Force and the Wright Brothers Institute (WBI) are offering cash prizes for the creation of visualization tools, including Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality solutions, that will enhance Department of Defense (DoD) space operator understanding and awareness of satellites and other objects in Earth orbit. The Air Force Visionary Q-Prize Competition (VQ-Prize) runs from October 29 through January 15, 2019. No background in space applications is required. Up to $100,000 in prize money will be distributed as part of this competition. Specific competition guidelines will be made available through WBI.
